The room was great-sized and newly remodelled with a view of the harbor. Appreciated having a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The climate control in the room was nice. The coffee/tea making equipment was a great addition.

The hotel has newly remodelled rooms complete with a view of the surroundings, a sofa. It has particularly good and fantastic location a short walk to Sweeney Museum.

It was in a central location, to a true tourist destination. The room was immaculate with a comfy bed, the bed was very comfy.

Sadly, but there was bad smell in some areas.

A lot of food for the continental breakfast. Well furnished and newly decorated room with an incredibly beautiful view of the town. - Incredible location in the downtown area.

Comfortable and convenient for our tour around Nova Scotia.

Unfortunately we were staying while renovations were being done above the hotel entrance and in wet conditions we had to find the carpark and the back entrance to the hotel. Dining room staff were a bit too attentive (!!) clearing away one diners empty plate before waiting until the other diner had finished. Maybe they are trained that way but it is better manners to clear away at one time only.

By and large, it was pleasant and relaxing place with decent staff who ho out of their way to meet your request. The location was unbeatable and incredible, right in the center of town, convenient to go everywhere. Ate at the attached restaurant for breakfast.

Ideal location - just a short walk to the Nova Star ferry ⛴️. Everything around here was great, and I'd definitely stay in this area again.

    Leaving and not returning.

Old, outdated, worn furniture (dresser drawer bottoms falling thru), worn bathroom fixtures (bathtub very stained and could use either clr or be replaced), discussing carpets (very old, stained and dirty. I went and bought slippers, and I never wear slippers. Needed a good vacuuming in all areas. Price was robbery for a hotel that could be much nicer with some investment in the facility, could charge a higher rate and customers would happily pay it if renos were done!

Our Babminton group got to stay in a block of rooms close to the pool. The food was great. Close to shopping

We found the beds very uncomfortable. The mattresses are sunk in the middle. Good for one person to sleep on but not two.

The service here was fantastic, even though some staff members were a bit unfriendly.

    We appreciated free breakfasts!

Everything was good, the parking was onsite, the room was great-sized and newly renovated. Booked a room with great views of the town. Also, location was favourable and unbeatable, close to Cape Forchu Lighthouse. And the area was quiet, adjacent to the ferry and down town, Yarmouth, NS and Portland and the young lady in the bar.

Newly decorated room with a harbor view and a comfy bed. Incredible location in downtown area next to the harbor. - Central nature for exploring Yarmouth. - Convenient access to the CAT ferry to Nova Scotia and Portland.
